What area do you serve?
We serve most of southeast Michigan (generally anywhere less than an hour from Detroit), but we are happy to consider other locations on a case-by-case basis. Please contact Cal at cal@cfirearms.com to discuss.

You are responsible for all range fees.
If i don’t live in the same county, can I still attend your class?
Yes.
We are happy to train anyone that can legally possess a firearm.
Do you offer CPL classes?
At this time, we do not.
Can I bring my own firearm?
Yes.
Please ensure you are following all local rules and regulations to do so.
Can I bring my own ammunition for my firearm?
Yes.
For pistols and rifles, please bring only brass-cased, non-armor piercing, lead-core ammunition.
For shotguns, please contact Cal at cal@cfirearms.com for specifics.
Can I borrow a friend's pistol to use for your course?
If they are also attending the class, yes. Otherwise, no, please bring your own or rent one from us.
Do you offer firearm rentals?
Yes.
We rent pistols for $15 per day per person, not including ammunition.
Do you offer ammunition?
Yes.
We can provide ammunition for your course or coaching session. Price is based upon market rate and length of your shooting session.
Can I bring my own ammunition if I rent a firearm?
Yes.
For pistol rentals, you may supply your own 115 grain, 9x19mm factory-loaded ammunition.
For shotgun or rifle rentals, please contact Cal at cal@cfirearms.com for requirements.
Can you help me choose the right firearm for me?
Yes.
We can have a discussion on what you're looking for in a firearm and help you narrow down your search. Every person has different requirements and luckily the selection of firearms is extremely broad nowadays.
Can I bring a friend or family member?

How do I transport my pistol without holding a Michigan CPL?
in layman's terms: pistol needs to be in a case designed for firearms in the trunk separated from ammunition. see Michigan's gun laws for exact description

What are the gun laws when purchasing a firearm in the state of Michigan?
Rules and regulations are constantly changing and are very complex, so please familiarize yourself with your local laws. Here are some general guidelines:
To purchase a pistol, you need to be over 21 and have a CPL or obtain a purchase permit from your local police department. Then, you go to a gun store, pick out what you want, fill out the paperwork, pass the background check, and you go home with your new firearm.
To purchase a long gun (shotgun or rifle), you need to be over 18. Then, go to your gun store, pick out what you want, fill out the paperwork, pass the background check, and you go home with your new firearm.
What if I have a mental health condition, can I still own a firearm in the state of Michigan?
In most cases, yes. However, please familiarize yourself with your local rules and regulations.
